The Institute of Martial Arts was founded by Grandmaster Kim in 1972.  Unlike some martial arts schools, we do not focus on the sport of martial arts, we focus on the traditional martial art (also know as old martial arts school concepts). 

Our goal is to hand down our knowledge of the orgional purpose and method of martial arts which focues on self defense and personal development. 

Our Mission is to offer special programs and classes for men, women and children that focuses on self-defense, while building self esteem (self concept) and self discipline.

Although ninty percent of our members are interested in self-defense and physical fitness, we do offer other separate programs for the ten percent who are interested in competition, therefore the Institute of Martial Arts is a complete Martial Arts school.

Our staff of expert instructors are extremely knowledgable and professional.
